Braxton Foushee, Secretary, began his current term with the OWASA Board of Directors in April, 2007. He serves on the Board's Budget/Financial Planning, Ad Hoc Community Outreach and Ad Hoc Art Committees.

Mr. Foushee served as a member of the Carrboro Board of Alderman from 1969 to 1981 and on the OWASA Board of Directors from June, 1986 through June, 1988.  He is the long-time Co-Chair of the Education Committee of the local NAACP.

He is employed by the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools

Mr. Foushee’s hobbies include coin collecting. He has four children
