East Rosemary Street lane closing

On Monday, a contractor working for OWASA will close the center turn lane in part of East Rosemary Street between North Columbia Street and Henderson Street in order to restore asphalt where OWASA recently inspected a sewer.

The timing of the work is subject to weather and other conditions. The map below shows the location of the lane closing.

During most of the paving work, OWASA plans to maintain two-way traffic in the east- and westbound lanes on each side of the turn lane. When the east- or westbound lane is temporarily closed, flaggers will guide traffic.

The contractor’s work will not affect access to parking lots and driveways in the area.

If the work is rescheduled due to weather, etc., OWASA will publicize the change.

The work is expected to be complete on Monday, but it is possible that some work may be needed on Tuesday.
