FINANCE MANAGER
The Orange Water & Sewer Authority (OWASA), a progressive, non-profit special purpose governmental water and sewer utility, seeks a highly responsible, financial management professional to join our team. Qualified candidates must be prepared to manage the Finance Department including, accounts payable and associated disbursements, receivables, payroll, job cost accounting and general ledger maintenance. Duties include cash management activities, internal financial reporting, budget monitoring and tax reporting. Reports to, and works closely with the Director of Finance and Customer Service in the areas of $34M+ budget preparation and implementation, financial forecasting, year-end audit preparation and financial reporting, investments, and debt management, and will be knowledgeable in customer service and purchasing. Position requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, taxation or business administration, 6-10 years of progressive managerial accounting and supervisory experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
