On October 13th, the OWASA Board of Directors will discuss a proposed plan for monitoring and evaluating OWASA's effectiveness in eliminating off-site odor from the Mason Farm Wastewater Treatment Plant. The evaluation would follow completion of odor-related improvements at the plant's “solid digesters” by the end of November, 2005. The OWASA Board meeting on October 13th will begin at 7:00 pm in the Community Room at the OWASA Administration Building, 400 Jones Ferry Road, Carrboro. All interested customers are invited to attend and participate in the Board meeting.
