Orange Water and Sewer Authority would like to thank everyone who has visited Cane Creek Reservoir or University Lake over the course of the 2021 recreation season.
The recreation season will be closing at the end of October. The last weekend of the recreation season will be Saturday, October 30, at Cane Creek Reservoir and Sunday, October 31, at University Lake.
Birdwatching at Cane Creek Reservoir will continue to be available during the winter months beginning on Wednesday, November 3, and running each Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. until the 2022 recreation season opens in late March 2022. COVID-19 precautions that have been in place for the last two recreation seasons will be evaluated before the beginning of the 2022 season.
Thank you to all who have visited the reservoirs during the 2021 season, and we hope to welcome you back for another visit – or your first visit – in 2022. Additional information on OWASA recreation opportunities can be found on the Recreation page of the OWASA website.
