02 Oct Cane Creek Reservoir closed due to expected flooding and high winds
The Cane Creek Reservoir and University Lake are closed to recreation due to expected flooding and high wind in the next several days.
OWASA said Thursday that closing the lakes is necessary because the lakes will likely be unsafe for boating and fishing and because the lake staff will need to focus on monitoring lake conditions and responding as needed.
University Lake is normally open Friday through Sunday and the Cane Creek Reservoir is normally open Friday and Saturday.
