Summary of OWASA's position on fluoridation (September 5, 2017)

‚ÄčIn accordance with recommendations by the US Centers for Disease Control, American Dental Association, Orange County Board of Health and other organizations, OWASA adds fluoride to drinking water to help prevent tooth decay.

In accordance with national guidelines, the fluoride level in our water is 0.7 of one part per million.

OWASA continues to monitor scientific research, guidelines/regulations and best practices regarding fluoridation.
