The Cane Creek Reservoir will also be open for recreation on Friday and Saturday, July 5thth and 6th from 6:30 AM to 6 PM; and University Lake will be open Saturday and Sunday for the same hours. Under State law, a fishing license is not required for fishing on July 4th.

“We invite the citizens to enjoy the excellent recreation opportunities and the beauty of nature at our lakes,” said Johnny Riley, Senior Lake Warden.
