OWASA’s Board of Directors met virtually on Thursday, February 24, 2022, and considered an agenda that included an update on the development of a new strategic plan.
The Board of Directors is currently meeting virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Long-Range Water Supply Plan
The Board discussed and approved OWASA’s intention for the use of OWASA-owned property on Jordan Lake as a site for a new water supply and treatment facility to secure OWASA’s access to its allocation of water from Jordan Lake.
Strategic Plan
The Board discussed and approved strategic priorities to be included in OWASA’s new strategic plan and reviewed draft versions of the updated, vision, mission, and value statements.
Board Member Compensation
The Board deferred the topic of Board member compensation to the March 10, 2022, Board meeting.
