15 Mar OWASA Board of Directors Meeting Summary for March 10
OWASA’s Board of Directors met virtually on Thursday, March 10, 2022, and considered an agenda that included discussions on the Fiscal Year 2023 Budget draft.
The Board of Directors is currently meeting virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Budget
The Board received and discussed the draft Fiscal Year 2023 Budget. The Board is scheduled to discuss the budget again on April 14 before a public hearing scheduled for May 12 and the final budget and rate approval on June 9, 2022.
Board Member Compensation
The Board approved an increase to Board compensation to encourage public interest in applying for appointments to the OWASA Board of Directors.
Program Updates
The Board received annual updates on the Affordability Program and Energy Management Program

The Board will hold its next meeting on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 6 p.m.; the agenda will be provided here.
