We want to make paying your water bill as easy as possible, so we offer many different ways to settle your monthly balance with OWASA. Choose the method most convenient to you.

Pay Online

We know your time is valuable, so speed and convenience are key. You can pay your OWASA bill online by credit or debit card through the Agua Vista portal. We accept VISA, Discover or MasterCard.

Not registered on Agua Vista? That’s okay. You can also pay your bill online below.

Automatic Draft

Want to speed up the payment process even more than paying online? If you like, you can allow OWASA to automatically draft the balance for your bills each month. Simply log into My Account and link your bank or credit card info. We accept VISA, Discover or MasterCard.

Pay by Phone

During office hours, you may call (919) 537-4343 to pay your bill by telephone with a Visa, Discover or MasterCard. Just have your card and your 14-digit OWASA account number ready.

You may call our Customer Service line at any time to review your account information if you’re unable to access your account online. Again, just have your OWASA account number handy.

In Person

You can pay your OWASA bill in person at the administrative office at 400 Jones Ferry Rd, Carrboro, NC 27510.

You can also leave a payment either in the box to the right of our front doors or in the box on the access road to the front of our building.

Pay By Mail

If you’d like to pay your bill by mail, simply send the bottom portion of your bill along with a check and/or money order to this address:

Include your account number with your payment to ensure we credit your account. Please do not send anything other than your payment and the lower portion of the bill to this address. Correspondence other than bill payments should be mailed to OWASA Customer Service at 400 Jones Ferry Rd., Carrboro, NC 27510. Can’t Afford To Pay Your Bill?

If you have received a past due notice and will not be able to pay your bill on time, call our Customer Service office at 919-537-4343 to discuss your options, which may include choose your own bill date, interest-free financing, and eligibility for the Care to Share water bill assistance program. Please have your 14-digit OWASA account number ready.

Pay By Text

Would you like a text reminder along with your e-bill?  How about the convenience of just clicking ‘ok’ to pay your bill?  Then, you’ll love Pay by Text.

Log in to sign up from our website, then register your preferred default payment method, and you’ll receive text reminders along with your e-bill.  Reply ‘ok’ when you are ready to authorize a payment and receive a text confirmation moments later.
