Please Take Our Community Survey to Guide OWASA’s Future

Update: The survey closed September 7, 2021. Thank you to all who took the survey and provided feedback. We will provide updates as we progress through the development of a new strategic plan.

Orange Water and Sewer Authority is in the process of updating our strategic plan that will help inform OWASA’s investments and priorities over the next 5-6 years. If you live or work in the Chapel Hill or Carrboro area, we want to hear from you. Your voice is a key piece of feedback in helping guide our efforts to better serve you.

You can get involved by taking a 5-7 minute community survey that is available in English and Spanish. Your responses to the survey will remain anonymous. The survey will be open through September 7, 2021.

As a thank you for taking time to complete the survey, OWASA is happy to offer one free lake use pass and boat rental at either of OWASA’s reservoirs at Cane Creek Reservoir or University Lake. When using the free pass, visitors will be required to follow all other current rules and regulations for visiting either of OWASA’s reservoirs.

With the benefit of this survey information and other stakeholder input, OWASA’s Board and staff leadership will then work together to identify and prioritize strategic goals and initiatives.

The new strategic plan will help guide OWASA investments in infrastructure across the community as well as help identify key objectives for OWASA staff. We are grateful for you taking the time to express your thoughts and opinions about how OWASA could better serve you.
