On Monday, April 8th, OWASA will need to close the southbound lane of Smith Level Road from 9 AM to 4 PM due to sewer replacement work that has begun in part of Smith Level Road and in the Heritage Hills neighborhood.
If necessary due to weather or other factors, the lane closing will be rescheduled to Tuesday, April 9th from 9 AM to 4 PM.
The location of the lane closing is shown on the map below.
Two-way traffic will be maintained. The lane closing will be indicated by signs, and flaggers will direct traffic around the closed lane
“We ask for everyone’s patience and understanding,” said OWASA’s Project Manager, Vishnu Gangadharan. “Our sewer replacement project is part of our work to prevent and minimize overflows from OWASA’s sanitary sewer system.”
